The physical properties of lubricant under high temperature and high pressure include high pressure viscosity, high pressure density, bulk modulus, coefficient of thermal expansion, etc. It is important to know these high pressure physical properties in machine design. However, almost no discussion has been made on the PVT relational expression of the lubricant which is the basis of these high pressure properties. Therefore, in this report, volume is obtained from the measurement of density at each temperature and pressure using a high pressure density measuring device, and the PVT linear equation is derived. It was found that this PVT linear equation is a liquid state equation consisting of three liquid specific constants Vt=0, 1/b and c/b.
