Abstract

As 1DCAE spreads in the industry, software group based on Modelica language has gained attention as its implementation tool. Compared with causal modeling tools represented by Simulink, these tools are excellent in maintainability and extensibility because it is easy to create a model simply by arranging the given components. As a result, 1DCAE tool has many merits as a highly productive simulation tool in enterprises. However, without essential understanding of the basic physical phenomenon, it is difficult to configurate multidisciplinary model and handle errors for large scale assembly. Hence, when applying to actual machines, it also has the reality that it cannot be used well at the site of design development. In this paper, I explain the background of 1D modeling and its mechanism based on the essence of 1DCAE.
