Because of the disaster that calling “The 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake”, there is changing in building standards law. So, in this paper, the study of safety of escalator that is compressed by construction beam because of receiving forced displacement is introduced. For that, I constructed simplified analysis model which I based on the experiment of real size escalator truss compression which is done for “Promotion project of building standards maintenance”. I made a study of validity of analysis model by comparing the result of experiment and FEM. As a result, I confirmed that analysis model could almost trace the result of experiment. Therefore, we can think that the analysis model can apply the evaluation of safety.
