CST museum (Center for historical records of College of Science and Technology, Nihon University) houses the Tani Ichiro Bunko, namely Tani Ichiro library. The Tani Ichiro Bunko consists of Professor Tani Ichiro’s collected papers, journals, and books. Tani’s notebooks and letters are contained in the Tani Ichiro Bunko. The content and total number of materials in the Tani Ichiro Bunko have remained unclear at the moment, as the Tani Ichiro Bunko moved several times. The Tani Ichiro bunko was investigated using museology techniques to clarify the total number and the contents of the materials. Key words are given to the collected papers, and then themes Tani was interested in are arranged based on the key words. In addition, we discuss how Tani utilized these collected materials for his research.
