The authors are engaged in educational and research activities on automobiles in engineering education, and have been conducting research on the body structure of student formula automobiles, design education on small ATVs, and development of EV carts for introductory engineering education. In this research, we will take a bird's-eye view of the process and results of these education and research, examine the possibility of automobiles as machines used for engineering education, and clarify the value of engineering education machines.
