Development of Simplified Snow-making System in Low Temperature Room

Abstract

In order to obtain snow used for various experiments in low temperature room, a simplified snow-making system, that mists of cooling water spraying from nozzle are frozen, has been developed. It can provide roughly spherical artificial snow with the ferret diameter of about 0.04 to 0.14 mm. The diameters are controlled by pressures of supplied water and air respectively.
