Abstract
This paper is concerned with the evaluation of characteristic features of the bone remodeling model formulated in the previous study. The dependence of bone remodeling on strain-rate and loading history is investigated. The results of simulations show that the strain-rate influences behavior of bone formation and resorption significantly. It is also observed that this model can represent the history dependence of bone remodeling.
