A micro actuator is an air float system, where an object is floated and conveyed by air flow. In this paper, we performed three dimensional flow simulations in order to study the movements of an object on the system. The velocity distributions and the pressure distributions under various conditions of the air flow through the micro actuator are calculated. The relation between the volume flow of the air, the mass of an object and the floating height of it is studied.
