Abstract

A new mass distribution method is proposed in this paper for the balancing of the shaking force and the shaking moment in a high-speed spatial RSSR mechanism. The multi-objective function with the weighting factors is given, and GA (Genetic Algorithm) as the optimization technique is used. The numerical examples are included, and the results show that the new mass distribution method is effective for the balancing of the shaking forces and the shaking moments. The experiments made it clear that the vibrations of a machinery foundation can be reduced effectively by the balancing of the shaking forces and the shaking moments.
