The sense of touch plays more and more important role on the interaction in virtual spaces. Recently, the visual communication in Immersive Projection Technology Displays (IPT) among remote places is coming true, and the haptic communication is also expected. In order to realize the haptic communication, we used the wearable force display (Haptic GEAR) between remote places through Gigabit Network. This paper describes the experiment and the evaluation of the haptic communication using Gigabit Network between the remote places.
