Abstract
There is no systematic approach for reviving products that are still functionally sound but cannot follow changing requirement or environment. We are developing a new design method to change functions and/or performance of existing products to adapt to changing requirements or environment. This approach aims to promote reuse of product components rather than material recycles, as it is more desirable from the point of reducing environment burden.
