Abstract
This paper discusses an advanced collaborative system that considers the constraint relationships among design criteria. In real design environments, design criteria frequently change, causing optimization difficulties and inefficiencies. This paper presents a newly developed optimization technique based on Hierarchical Genetic : Algorithms (HGA) that is integrated with several additional modules, enabling the smooth optimization of dynamic problems in which design criteria frequently change. An equally important issue is the presentation of necessary design information output to decision-makers. This paper discusses the use of the proposed system to create design constraint condition graphs that are presented to decision-makers during the optimization process, enhancing system development productivity.
