The functional object manufactured in one continuity is called as the functional continuum. In this paper, the technique using a slit to create the functional continuum is studied. The dynamic response of beam introducing a slit is analyzed by the FEM. The technique adjusting the micro-displacements in the X-Y stage of a microscope using the slits is presented.
