抄録
The outline of the new class of "Find its root" developed at The University of Tokushima; Department of Mechanical Engineering is introduced in this report. In this class, each student investigated the history of a common technology, such as cars and airplanes, and has to answer the fundamental questions of who developed the technology, when and where it came from, why it developed, and what its background was. Through this investigation, it aimed at not only the deep understanding on the technology itself but also the improvement in the presentation ability.
