In the Tenryugawa valley of Tatsuyama-mura, Shizuoka Prefecture, water wheel was once used widely as factory power. In the Fujiwara tea factory, the water wheel is still used as power of the ropeway in the tea garden. This report deals with the power transfer mechanism of the ropeway.
