Abstract
A development of a lapping system for minute ceramics spheres was carried out. This work is consists of design and trial manufacture of a lapping machine and a development of evaluation methods of accuracy of minute spheres. The main elements of a lapping machine are laps and a lower lap has one or several u-grooves. For measuring roundness of spheres, an instrument was designed and manufactured. A method for measuring surface roughness of minute spheres by using a roundness curve was suggested.
