In recent years, electric wheelchairs have the development tendency of lightweight-izing and miniaturization. Users with the present model have dissatisfaction in the cruising range per 1 charge, the weight, the folding width and so on. We tackled lightweight-ized research of a frame, lightweight high capacity-ized research of a battery, and low noise-ized research of a drive unit in order to cancel such some dissatisfied points. The details of the above will be introduced hereunder.
