Abstract
Temperature fluctuation from incomplete fluid mixing induces fatigue damages on structures of nuclear components, which should be prevented. Since induced thermal stresses strongly depend on frequency of fluctuations, authors proposed the frequency response evaluation method of thermal stress. Evaluation procedure consists of PSD charts of fluid temperature, frequency transfer functions from fluid temperature to thermal stress and stress intensity factor.
