Increase in the liquid helium evaporation of superconducting magnets on Magnetically levitated vehicle (Maglev) will be caused by the friction between the interface of superconducting magnet structural materials. In generally, polyimide films are covered with superconducting coil surfaces to make slip areas increase positively. However, the influence of polyimide film on the frictional heat generation is not clear. Therefore, we measured the liquid helium evaporation by the friction test at 300Hz in the liquid helium. Finally, the influence of polyimide film thickness on frictional heat generation was investigated.
