Abstract
Because of a small number of component parts, the error caused by a particular part must have effect upon the relationship between input and output. The authors investigated how the processing and assembling error affects the outputs of McPherson strut mechanism (sensitivity analysis). In the paper, we estimate the cause of steering angle error using the sensitivities from experimental values. Comparing with result of static analysis, we investigate if the cause of error involve in transmissibility.
