A new bed called a multi-plane press bed was developed for the prevention of bedsore. Some air-cells and rubber-tubes are located lengthwise and sideways on the bed and a lot of pins are located on the points of intersection of the air-cells and rubber tubes. When the pressure of the air-cells and the rubber tubes increase, the pins move up and the planes attached on the pins push up the back of a human body. It is able to change the pressure distribution for the back of a human body by controlling the pressure of the air-cells and the rubber-tubes. It is found out for comparing the back pressure of a human body of this bed with that of the bed on the market that this bed is useful for the prevention of the bedsore.
