Electric equipments such as home appliances have become efficient and multifunctional, so that our life is convenient now. On the other hand, the manuals become so complex with the growing complexity and diversification of operations of products that the manuals easy to refer, and to understand are called for. The issues in present manuals are extracted by paying attention to the beginner user, and a manual prototype is developed and its usability is examined.
