The burden transportation support technology that is usable in various scenes, such as daily life and agriculture is requested To realize this technology, it is required the burden carrier to follow user's various movements by an easy operation. In this research, we developed the burden carrier to be able to follow the person in a general pavement. To follow the person without influence by the bump and to be able to turn the smaller turning diameter, the carrier was constructed by independently driven units for drive the right and left wheels which have spring and hydraulic shock absorber. Moreover, an operation interface is required to correspond to dynamical change of a distance between people and the carrier. Then, with focusing attention on the string's redundancy, we installed a string as an interface connecting a user and the carrier, and invented the control method to maintain the string being always slack. As a result, the prospect that the carrier could follow the user maintaining a suitable distance was acquired.
