3324 Engineering Education of Hokkaido Inst. of Tech. by Designing Small Space Systems

An space engineering study group were built by staffs in Hokkaido Institute of Technology in 2000. The staffs were engaged in an electric engineering division and a mechanical engineering division. The programs of the study group consist of designing small satellites and developing small hybrid rocket together with Prof. Nagata 's group of Hokkaido University. Students of the small satellite groups were engaged in making CanSat and studying subsystem components of Hokkaido Satellite "TAIKI" together with companies' engineers. Their skills were trained in such a practical manner.
