Abstract
Cure monitoring is indispensable for resin transfer molding process of GFRP products. In this study, the degree of cure of GFRP is measured using of the intensity change of reflected light. The sensing system employs a LED as a light source. A photodiode is adopted as a light power sensor. This low-cost cure-monitoring system is successfully applied to monitoring of degree of cure of GFRP.
