Abstract
Recently, light material as aluminium alloys has applied for much industrial application. But, aluminium alloys is poor wear and thermal resistance than cast iron. In this paper, we made coaings using gas atomized and water atomized powders by HVOF spraying. And we described wear characteristics and micro structure of these coatings. From the result, graphite phase was not observed in the sprayed coatings.
