The performance of a sirocco fan is greatly affected by the shape of it's scroll casing. However it's not always possible to apply appropriately designed casing, for demand for smaller installation space. In this paper, the sirocco fans which have two different casings were investigated, it found out that the proposed scroll shape makes casing smaller without spoiling performance.
