A hydro dynamic centrifugal blood pump was developed using a Conical Spiral Groove Bearing (CSGB) is developed, whose geometry was determined based on a preliminary test. The performance test of the pump with CSGB showed the pump head H=2.5m (180mmHg) and flow rate Q=3.5L/min at rotational speed 3000 min^<-1>.
