Abstract
In recent years, for the reasons of the omission accident of wheels of tracks and buses having become a big social problem, the reliability of binding an axle and a wheel tight became necessary more than former. Although nuts with cone-form bearing surface are used for the portion which combines axles and wheels of an automobile in usual, probably, the characteristic of bearing-surface-pressure distribution of a screw with cone-form bearing surface for fixing differ from the bearing-surface-pressure distribution in a general bearing surface of the plane which intersects perpendicularly to bolt axis. In this research, finite element analysis is performed about bearing-surface-pressure distribution of a screw with cone-form bearing surface for fixing, and basic characteristics of bearing-surface-pressure distribution etc. are considered.
