CPM (Continuous Passive Motion) is a surgical treatment or physiotherapy after operations for disorders. In the rehabilitation with the CPM device for the upper limb, because the musculoskeletal structure of the upper limb is not clarified, the influences of the upper limb joint in CPM are not analyzed. Particularly, change of the joint torques by accompanying pronosupination of the forearm are uncertain. In this paper, we measured flexion and extention movements with prono-supination of the forearm in CPM, and derived each joint torques from the data of obtained each joint displacements, by using skeleton model of the forearm based on the biomechanics. Moreover, the forearm motion is generated from the calculated joint torques, and the validity is verified.
