1022 The development of pico-satellite "SPROUT"

Presently, We are developing the second pico-satellite following SEEDS since end of last year. We named new satellite "SPace Research On Unique Technology (SPROUT)". We put the will of the improving the technology of satellite development and installing our original function in SPROUT. Under this will, we give SPROUT the following two missions. One of these is on-orbit demonstration of the inflatable tube deployment. The other one is the execution of the interactive communication between amateur radio operators and SPROUT. Now, we have designed the structure and on board computer of SPROUT and we are aiming at the launch in fiscal year 2008.
