Abstract

We propose a method for designing critical systems of the position control system for two inertia systems combined with the minor control loop and the disturbance observer. The minor control loop and the disturbance observer are designed in order to obtain the optimal damping factor and robustness of the modified plant. The proposed design method is demonstrated through simulations and experiments.
