The multi-materials structure has been applied to car body as one of the methods reducing its weight, and the joining different materials is necessary. In this paper, fatigue shearing tests were performed in order to evaluate the fatigue strength of aluminum-steel joints connected by self piercing rivet (SPR). It is confirmed that the relation between load range and number of cycles to failure is linear in single logarithm and there are fatigue limits in the range from 20% to 40% of static tensile shearing strength.
