Abstract
Warm extrusion rods obtained from preliminarily compacted rods of AZ91 were studied on their elastic and thermal recovery, and secular change of dimension. So, it is get at a good extrusion that billet what compression molding Magnesium tips is used the extruding. In this paper, the extruding used both billet is studied the difference between the billet casting and the compacted products. When the compacted products are used, its aspect is enhanced by homogenization treatment (410℃×48h). And when the billet casting is used, the influence by homogenization treatment is not received because of the short processing time for it. For the reason above-mentioned, it is important to choice the condition to use there.
