Abstract
In recent production environment, production control and management are applied by connecting different works on distributed locations. This management environment is introduced to effectively control supply chain because of different work managed under different condition on each location. If production information is shared among distributed works, production lead time and total inventories would be reduced. However, the different structure of data base and different specific technical words depend on locations or works. Therefore, it is not easy to share information among databases used on different locations or different works. On global supply chain, the sharing of information is more difficult work due to production locations distributed in all over the world. In this study, we develop network system to connect MRP systems on different locations and to share information among the MRP systems. The system is developed by using web application technique assuming MRP systems on which different specific technical words are used are connected to the network system. This paper describes the properties of the developed network system and case study.
