The flow meter based on a new measurement principle for liquid hydrogen consists of a solenoid coil, a sensor coil and a piston with a valve and steel rod. The flow rate is measured by detecting the position of the piston, which varies according to the magnitude of the fluid dynamic pressure, i.e., the flow rate. In the present study, it is tried to improve that a zero-shift of the flow meter output caused by the expansion / contraction of the piston due to temperature change, and that hysteresis phenomena dependent on the change direction of flow rate.
