Abstract
The present study describes the effect of lubricants on performance of molded plastic gears for power transmission. Some kinds of lubricants were investigated with endurance tests under high temperature. It could be confirmed that flank wear decrease and the effective for the decrease of temperature of test gear under high temperature and decrease of gear noise using lubricants. As a result, all lubricants tested made service life increased. Using different lubricants, it could be confirmed difference in service life. It is important to select the lubricant to get high performance of plastic gear.
