In the present study, active feedback control of boundary layer was conducted with active vortex generator and micro flow sensor. The main components of this control system are the sensor output and the angle of attack of the generator as plant output and input, respectively. Since the sensor can detect the change in the wall velocity gradient caused by the longitudinal vortex from the generator, the momentum transport at the sensor position can be controlled by varying the angle of attack of the generator. From the characteristics of the sensor, it is confirmed that the extremum of the sensor output corresponds to that of the transport. In order to implement the maximization of the sensor output, the extremum seeking control, specifically the perturbation method, was employed. The developed control system can control the sensor output to the maximum value with the response of millisecond order regardless of the initial condition.
