Abstract
It has already reported in previous paper that the performance of a factional power transmission belt such as flat or V-ribbed belts at 2 % slippage can be analytically predicted and the results well coincide with the measured ones. In this report it is shown that the performance curve relating slip ratio and transmitted torque can be obtained by using the analytical expression and μV characteristics relating friction coefficient and slip velocity.
