抄録

We propose a method to decompose a mesh obtained by scanning a welded assembly of sheet metal parts into individual parts by cutting the mesh along the welded lines. Such decomposition is necessary to use the scanned mesh to generated FEM data. Our method is based on GraphCut and Ridge-Valley Lines. Experimental results with practical examples are demonstrated by our prototype software
