Cellular automata simulation of traffic flow near a branching point of roads is described in this study. Vehicles are molded to behave according to Chandler model (Single vehicle following model) and multiple vehicles following model. The simulation results show that the multiple vehicles following model can increase the traffic flow amount and that traffic flow amount in branching road is greater than that in non-branching road.
