F-0323 Countermeasures of Inclusion of Chips on Gear Tooth Surface during : High-speed Dry Hobbing

Abstract

With the development of high-speed hobber and improvement of gear technology, high-speed dry hobbing has found extensive use in industry. In this paper, the authors have investigated the cause of and countermeasures against inclusion of chips occurred on gear tooth during high-speed carbide dry hobbing.
