Abstract
In the micro mechatronics control systems small and low-power consumption microprocessors are necessary. In this paper, a methodology for realizing energy and space saving control systems is proposed. The new calculation method is based on the delta operation and PWM. The dynamic range of the calculation becomes twice or more than conventional one. This methodology is very useful for realizing the micro mechatronics systems, since control algorithms can be implemented in fixed-point arithmetic with short word length.
