Abstract
In this study the goal is to clarify one of the best body structures with both good impact safety performance and lightweight performance. Two modification, which are connecting the hood structure and adding new under panel made of steel on the body structure, are applied and the structure generating new load path is proposed by using LS-DYNA and U* which is a new index to show the load path of impact energy.
