Zr-Cu alloys with different Zr concentration were fabricated. The Zr concentrations of Zr-Cu alloys were ranging from 48 to 52 at.%. Effects of Zr concentration on structure and phase transformation temperature were investigated. As the results, it is found that the crystalline structure of Zr-Cu alloy depends on Zr concentration. In any cases, Zr-Cu alloys involve ZrCu (martensite phase), Zr_2Cu, and Zr_7Cu_<10>. Increasing the amount of the Zr concentration tends to increase the amount of Zr_2Cu. Also, decreasing the amount of Zr concentration tends to increase the amount of Zr_7Cu_<10>. Furthermore, it was confirmed that each Zr-Cu alloy exhibits both martensitic and austenitic transformation. Also, it was found that the martensitic and austenitic transformation temperatures show very little change with change of Zr concentration. In addition, it was confirmed that each Zr-Cu alloy exhibits the shape memory effect.
