Abstract
Capsule-Chuck is a support part used in order to grip the core of a continuation medium. In order to satisfy the needs to diversify, new product are expected. However, the deformation properties of Capsule-Chuck is not yet clarified. To solve this problem, analyzing by a simulation is useful. In this research, Capsule-Chuck was modeled using finite element analysis. Simulation was performed for contact of a capsule and a core. It compared with the experimental result about surface contact stress and contact length to verify about the validity of the models. The contact pressure result of simulation was different from experimental result in the area of edge. It is required to improvement the model in the area of edge.
