Abstract
This paper describes that the system measured grinding temperature (the temperature at grinding point, the temperature distribution of workpiece) in cylindrical grinding. To measure grinding temperature in the grinding processing is one of the important elements when making grinding mechanism clear. However, in cylinder grinding that both the workpiece and the wheel are turning, it is difficult to measure grinding temperature. In this study, the sensor to measure temperature at grinding point and the sensor to measure temperature distribution of workpiece in surface grinding has been produced and verified. And a method of measuring grinding temperature in cylindrical grinding has been verified.
