This paper describes a micro transportation system using liquid droplets driven by EWOD. The transportation system consists of two parts: a droplet generator and a micro conveyer. In the generator, a droplet is created between two parallel plates, whereas droplets in the conveyer are actuated on a single plate. In this study, experiments for the droplet creation and transfer from the generator to the conveyer were carried out.
