Measurement of quenching distance for different wall temperature and surface material is conducted in parallel quartz plates with metal coating. It is found that quenching distance is decreased with increasing wall temperature, showing the wall thermal effect on flame quenching. Quenching distance become slightly larger between Cr-coated plates, thus the wall chemical effect does exist. In addition, phase-locked OH-PLIF measurement has been developed for investigation of detailed quenching mechanism of the oscillating flame in a planar micro channel.
