This study aims at establishing an active internal disturbance accommodation filter based on the concept of internal modeling in order to realize high precision spacecraft pointing control using Control Moment Gyroscopes (CMG). At first, after the satellite starts to maneuver, the frequency of the internal disturbance is estimated by the Kreisselmeier adaptive observer. After the maneuver of satellite is finished, the active internal disturbance accommodation filter based on the concept of internal modeling is established and the internal disturbance is eliminated by feedforward control. By this proposal method, the plural periodical unknown disturbance produced by the non-linear property of CMG can be estimated accurately and rapid and high accuracy feedforward control is realized. From the simulations, it was confirmed that the proposed method can estimate accuracy higher and the capability of internal disturbance accommodation higher than notch filtering method.
